What started as a passion and a hobby by designer and founder, Lisa Resnick, became a full-time pursuit in 1999 when the company Lisa Jill Jewelry was formed.

Resnick was no newcomer to the fashion world when she started the venture. In fact, she experienced her first success as a teenager when a line of hand dyed t-shirts that she designed was sold in women’s boutiques in her hometown. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA, she worked for 15 years as a designer and fashion trend forecaster for The Style Council in New York City. While working there, she spent her off-time combining her desire to create art with her love of fashion to design pieces of jewelry for family and friends. Her inspiration often came from the many treasures that she found when searching flea markets and antique shops for items to use in the designs.

Before long, word spread about her beautiful and unique jewelry design and her one-time passion blossomed into a full time career. The Lisa Jill Jewelry collection includes recycled pieces of the past, vintage chains, unusual trinkets, cherished charms and gems and pearls. Lisa Jill Jewelry has been sold in over 30 boutiques across the nation.
